🐘 Guild Wars 2 Level 80 Now What

So I'm just looking for suggestions on what to do once I hit 80. I play as an Engineer and have really been enjoying it. I'm level 76 now and figure I'll hit 80 sometime tonight after work. Now I know Guild Wars is different then many MMO's and that the journey and exploration isn't close to being over as hitting 80 isn't really the "end game". So far I've just been following and trying to Players Helping Players. LVL 80 Now what. Hi all, I started playing this game a couple months after it first came out. I am not in a Guild but I have 3 LVL 80 characters after playing on and off over the years. My question is I want to keep playing but am not familiar with the high level content. But as VeeSlays already stated, I would recommend to NOT use it on your first character, because the leveling process is kind of an extended tutorial and unlocking the mechanics step by step helps you to learn all these systems without getting overwhelmed. Lvling a character from 55 till 80 doesn't take a long time. Since the boost will give a Celestial gear set, I suggest create a new character that will benefit from Celestial set and boost it to level 80. #8. tatiana Jul 22 @ 2:26am. So im leveling a warrior, currently lvl 42 just roaming the lands doing hearts and exploring lands (feels good been a while since ive explored new lands in an MMO), but if i get to a lvl 1-15 or 15-30 area, it still takes me a good few hits and time At level 80, the first thing you should do is finish the main story in Guild Wars 2. The story takes you through the world of Tyria and this gives you the opportunity to unlock extra waypoints . This comes in handy when you want to return to a specific place for an event or collection. Guild Wars 2 scales people down to the level of a zone. But ESO scales everyone everwhere to the ability of what this game would call a level 80 in exotic gear. Unless you enter a raid or their version of fractal like content, at which point your champion points take over and achieve an effect similar to using Ascended gear here. 2. The build decides if a Char is squish or not, i have seen unkillable Elementalists in WvW or Necros soloing Content made for 5-10 people. 3. If you decide to level normally you get a ,,natural,, feeling for your core class, especially if you try different builds and weapons. I just hit level 80 in-game, i'm not through the core story yet but i'm working on that, after core i'm planning on doing other story content as chronologically as possible. How does one acquire ascended gear? I grabbed a full set of exotic from the TP for cheap (mix of berserker stats and vit for survivability) so that should be good enough for now, but i'd like to upgrade at some point. Didn Guild Wars 2 is not World of Warcraft. The game doesn't start at 80. The game doesn't start at 80. I was stuck in a dungeon run the other day with someone who had bought the game, learned that the fastest way to grind levels was Edge of the Mists, done that, and then started running dungeons. If it were me making a new account and I had just hit level 80, there are three places I would immediately think to go: Silverwastes for profit. Fractals for ascended items, especially early trinkets. WvW just because I love the game mode. I imagine you've done all the personal story and dungeons on your way up to 80, but in case you don't know There is also some packages I believe where Level 80 Booster where one item among other, like in a starter pack or some thing. Can't find anything on GW2 wiki about which package it could be or if I just remember it incorrectly. Anyway look at starter packages also in case it could happen to be bundled. SzgV6Hb.
